Sail with me

 

I sail in the middle of an ocean,
Alone in the darkness of the night,
Unsure of how to get to my destination,
Hoping for a source of light

I look up to the sky,
And see the ribbons of clouds,
Hiding a great luminous pearl,
That would cast silver rays on my sail path

I stop sailing,
As I do not know where I am heading,
And that is when something came on shining,
A source of light that I have been waiting,

A lighthouse.

I live in this world just like a sailor. Sailing towards a destination, Jannatul Firdaus. But I am unable to do so without the light that Islam casts upon me. Without it, I do not know what to do or where to go. Islam is a guide for me to get to that destination. Let’s all sail to Jannah. I will see you there. Bi idznillah.

May Allah guides us all the way to Jannatul Firdaus. Allahumma Ameen.
